The 79th Venice Film Festival kicked off in the Italian city on August 31, drawing the big and good from the film world.
As the longest-running film festival in the world, it regularly attracts the crème de la crème of the industry, the most anticipated new films, as well as some extraordinary red carpet looks.
This year will experience the long-awaited premiere don’t worry darlingStarring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and Gemma Chan, and directed by Olivia Wilde.

Chalamet, whose cannibal romance received an eight-minute standing ovation at its premiere on Friday (September 2), wowed fans with his red carpet look as he wore an all-red Haider Ackerman halterneck jumpsuit with a cleavage at the back and a halter neckline tightened side and a shawl-like neckline.
Elsewhere at the festival, British actress Jodie Turner-Smith donned a range of stunning outfits after debuting White noise on Wednesday, in which she stars alongside Adam Driver.
On the festival’s opening night, Turner-Smith wore a long black sheer Gucci dress with jeweled detailing and red lining – and completed the look with elbow-length green gloves.

Twitter fans gushed over Timothée Chalamet’s daring red jumpsuit as he stepped out on Friday. Haider Ackerman’s sleeveless piece, designed from lustrous fabric with lots of cutouts, is said to have defied societal stereotypes about what men should wear.
The 20 year old stranger things star chose a simple white Alexander McQueen dress with side cutouts for her look at the Venice Film Festival, but accessorised the look with a black leather harness around her torso and black boots. She also chose silver hardware accessories, including a bar ring, to match her nude manicure.
Nicholas Hoult, co-star of Timothée Chalamet in Bones & All, cut a dashing figure on the red carpet in an all-white Giorgio Armani suit. He kept his look slightly casual with no tie and an unbuttoned collar, and wore shiny black shoes to make his suit stand out even more.
Bridgeton Star Simone Ashley was the epitome of elegance in a strapless red satin dress by Armani Privé. The 27-year-old wore her dark hair in a braided bun and accessorised with Bulgari jewelry including a diamond-encrusted necklace, simple diamond earrings and a ring.
